I’m a consultant, a human rights advocate and an expert on the work of building gender equality in the real world.
I advise and support governments, businesses and NGOs to find creative and productive ways to use their work and structures to improve gender equality in Australia and gain the benefits that gender equal systems can bring.
I have 25 years’ experience working in gender analysis and human rights, initially as a lawyer, then as an expert in gender policy and UN human rights systems. I was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to women through gender equity advocacy and to the law in 2025 and I am honoured to have twice been a finalist for ACT Woman of the Year. You can find out more about my biography at the ACT Honour Roll.
I am also a speaker, a community builder, a writer and an activist.
